Top officials from Sweden, Finland, and Turkiye held a meeting on Friday in Finland where they discussed prerequisites Turkiye has amid the two Nordic countries’ North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) accession, reports Teletrader.
The meeting focused on security, NATO accession, and terrorism threats, as well as prisoner extradition from Sweden to Turkiye, which Turkiye has demanded. Finland has not commented on this issue.
“Finland and Sweden will show full solidarity and cooperation with Turkiye in the fight against all forms and manifestations of terrorism they reiterated their commitment not to provide support to these organizations,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s office concluded.
