Some details have emerged about the murder case that occurred today in the Ramana settlement of Sabunchu district in Baku. According to initial assumptions, the settlement resident, 1985-born Cosqun Nureddin oglu Bagirov, after brutally killing his wife Nubar Bagirova in their home, also killed himself.
Medianews.az reports that there was serious tension in the family before the incident. According to the neighbors, Cosqun Bagirov was released from a penal institution about a month ago. During this period, the family’s livelihood was provided by Nubar Bagirova. She worked as a saleswoman in a market and raised two underage daughters.
According to claims, shortly before the incident, Nubar Bagirova told her husband that she wanted to divorce him. After that, a quarrel occurred between the husband and wife. During the quarrel, Cosqun Bagirov dealt multiple stab wounds to his wife with a knife, killing her.
It is then reported that Cosqun Bagirov hanged himself, ending his own life.
Law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene discovered Cosqun Bagirov hanging and Nubar Bagirova’s stabbed corpse in the house.
