The house arrest period of Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of Armenia's opposition "Strong Armenia" party and a well-known businessman, has been extended for another 2 months.

Recall that Samvel Karapetyan, the owner of the "Tashir" group of companies, has been in custody since June 2025. He is accused of calling for the overthrow of the constitutional order and economic crimes.
