Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense Industry, Vugar Mustafaev, met with Selcuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Turkey's "Baykar" company, who is on a working visit in the country, and Turkey's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Birol Akgün.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the strategic alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are successfully developing in all directions, including the defense industry sector.
It was noted that expanding cooperation with the "Baykar" company holds special importance for the development of Azerbaijan's defense industry.
It was highlighted that the joint projects being implemented make an important contribution to strengthening the existing partnership between the two countries.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on expanding military-technical cooperation, applying innovative technologies, and other matters of mutual interest.
