In June of this year, prices in the consumer market of Georgia increased by 5.8 percent compared to the same month of 2025.
Medianews.az reports that over the course of a year, utility services rose by 7.2 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages by 5.6 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 5.4 percent, clothing and footwear by 2.1 percent inflation.
It is reported that transportation prices went up by 16.5 percent, public catering and hotel services by 8.4 percent, healthcare services by 4.7 percent, education sector by 2.4 percent, recreation and cultural services by 0.9 percent, while communication services decreased by 6.4 percent, and furniture and household goods by 2.2 percent.
