The Ministry of Trade of Turkey has made technical changes to the customs system within the framework of the normalization process of relations with Armenia.
According to Medianews.az, citing the "Sabah" newspaper, based on the new rules, from now on, in customs declarations of imports, exports, and transit operations carried out through third countries with Armenia, the official "077" code of Armenia can be used.
The relevant changes have already been entered into Turkey's BILGE customs information system.
Within the framework of the changes, it will be possible to indicate "Armenia/Turkey" as the final destination or country of origin for goods sent from Turkey to a third country, and from there to Armenia.
