On July 17, a barrel of Azerbaijani oil branded "AzeriLight" is sold for $88.82. This is an increase of $13.48 compared to the beginning of the month.
Medianews.az reports that in Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, a barrel of oil is estimated at $65. "AzeriLight" started at $65.71 in January, $69.72 in February, $79.60 in March, $132.35 in April, $122.26 in May, $104.58 in June, and $75.34 in July.
The oil market has been fluctuating since February 28 due to rising and falling tensions around Iran.
The international coalition of exporters has set Azerbaijan's daily crude oil production quota at 551,000 barrels.
In the first five months of 2026, together with condensate, 11 million tons of oil were extracted in Azerbaijan, and in half a year, $6.2 billion worth of crude oil and crude oil products were exported abroad.
