According to the new report from the Ministry of Energy, 13.3 million tons of oil, including condensate, were produced in Azerbaijan in January-June 2026.
Medianews.az reports that similar production was 44.5 million tons in 2008, 50.4 million tons in 2009, 50.8 million tons in 2010, 45.6 million tons in 2011, 43.4 million tons in 2012, 43.5 million tons in 2013, 42 million tons in 2014, 41.6 million tons in 2015, 41 million tons in 2016, 38.7 million tons in 2017, 38.8 million tons in 2018, 37.4 million tons in 2019, 34.5 million tons in 2020, 34.6 million tons in 2021, 32.6 million tons in 2022, 30.1 million tons in 2023, 29 million tons in 2024, and 27.7 million tons in 2025.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, one barrel of oil is taken at $65. "Azeri Light" started January at $65.71, February at $69.72, March at $79.60, April at $132.35, May at $122.26, June at $104.58, and July at $75.34.
The international coalition of exporters has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551,000 barrels.
In the first half of 2026, crude oil and crude oil products worth $6.2 billion were exported from the country.
