Medianews.az reports that the first semi-final of the contest to be hosted in Vienna, the capital of Austria, is scheduled for May 12, the second semi-final for May 14, and the final for May 16.
The participation of Israel, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, Slovenia, Belgium, Finland, and Iceland is uncertain, and Armenia and Georgia, whose participation is expected, have not yet made a decision.
The "Eurovision" contest, held since 1956, is a project of the European Broadcasting Union, which brings together public broadcasters.
