The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, made a telephone call to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on December 12.
During the telephone conversation, the presidents discussed some practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements of November 10, 2020, January 11, and November 26, 2021, as well as October 31 this year, signed by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, including plans for the restoration of economic and logistical relations in the South Caucasus.
The heads of state also exchanged views on future contacts.
