“Increase of bilateral cooperation and dialogue between Türkiye and Israel will facilitate resolution of discord in some issues, especially in the issue of Palestine,” said Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz at a joint press conference with Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar on the sidelines of his visit to Türkiye.
He has noted that the future of relations between the two countries seems hopeful.
“However, it depends on our common interests in the protection of stability and security in the world and region. There are many fields for cooperation in the future. It includes achievement of diplomatic resolutions of conflicts in our region,” stressed Gantz.
Israeli Minister has drawn attention to the occurrences in the Middle East and Eastern Mediterranean Sea.
“Alliances are established against the threats by Iran. No doubt that Türkiye, a member of NATO and an ally of our common friend, the United States, has an important role in ensuring global stability,” added Gantz.
