On July 10, the price of a barrel of Azerbaijani oil branded "AzeriLight" dropped to $79.09.
Medianews.az reports that the official price was indicated as $82.07 the previous day.
The oil market has been fluctuating since February 28 due to tensions around Iran causing obstacles to production and transportation in the Middle East.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, a barrel of oil is taken at $65. "AzeriLight" started January at $65.71, February at $69.72, March at $79.60, April at $132.35, May at $122.26, June at $104.58, and July at $75.34.
