“The development of the dialogue between Azerbaijan and the Eurasian Economic Union can undoubtedly significantly impact the entire region. Moreover, this dialogue can be conducted in any format,” Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, said at a weekly briefing.
Zakharova positively assessed the participation of the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan in the last meeting of the Intergovernmental Council.
“We, in our turn, positively evaluate the participation of the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan in the last session of the Intergovernmental Council. In our opinion, the potential for cooperation between official Baku and the Eurasian Economic Union is very high. We see great prospects for this cooperation and believe that it will benefit the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia,” she noted.
The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has recently participated in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
