Armenia and the US have signed a framework agreement under the TRIPP project.
“Armenpress” reports that this was stated by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalled that the document was initially initialed on May 26 during US Secretary of State Mark Rubio's visit to Armenia.
The video released by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs shows Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan signing the document.
According to Mirzoyan, the document initially initialed a few days ago by him and US Secretary of State Mark Rubio was later signed by the US and sent to Armenia: “Secretary of State Rubio signed the agreement, the document was sent to Armenia, and now I have signed on behalf of the Armenian side.”
Mirzoyan noted that this completes the process of signing the document remotely: “Thus, the remote signing process is completed and the agreement is ready for ratification.” /APA
