A director has been appointed to the Nakhchivan Post and Telecommunications Center.
Medianews.az reports that regarding this, an order was signed by Azer Mammadrahimov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, acting as the Minister temporarily.
According to the order, Huseyn Jafar oglu Asgarli was appointed as the director of "Nakhchivan Post and Telecommunications Center" LLC.
Before the appointment, H. Asgarli, who worked as the deputy director at this institution, led the digital transformation process, digitalization of postal and telecommunication services, as well as the preparation and implementation of innovative projects in the field of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity solutions.
H. Asgarli began his career at the Ministry of Communications and New Technologies of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and held several managerial positions there. In subsequent years, he worked as sector manager at the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency and as head of the Information Technology Department at Nakhchivan State University.//report
