On July 15, a barrel of Azerbaijani oil branded "AzeriLight" is sold for 86.51 dollars.
Medianews.az reports that this is 11.7 dollars higher than the starting price of the month, and 21.51 dollars above the price envisaged in the budget.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, a barrel of oil is taken at 65 dollars. "AzeriLight" started at 65.71 in January, 69.72 in February, 79.60 in March, 132.35 in April, 122.26 in May, 104.58 in June, and 75.34 in July.
The oil market has been fluctuating since February 28 due to tensions around Iran.
