The Turkish exploration-drilling ship “Fatih” discovered 58 billion cubic meters of natural gas reserves at a depth of 3000 meters in the Black Sea’s Chaycuma-1 field, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said during his address to the people after the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
He stated that Turkiye’s Black Sea gas reserves have increased to 710 billion cubic meters.
Erdogan also stated that his country is determined to becoming an energy center for the Caspian Sea, Central Asia, and the Mediterranean.
