On September 10, a service meeting was held at the Central Command Post under the leadership of the Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, reports the Defense Ministry.
The deputy ministers, commanders of troops, heads of departments, and services of the ministry attended the meeting. Besides. commanders of military units and formations deployed in the liberated areas joined the service meeting via video link.
The operational conditions and the current situation at the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border and in the area temporarily located by the Russian peacekeeping contingent were extensively analyzed at the service meeting held at the Ministry of Defense.
The Defense Minister especially stressed the tension that may arise as a result of the intensive firing of the Armenian armed forces in the direction of Kalbajar and Lachin regions and also ordered to be ready to prevent any provocation immediately and decisively.
The Minister of Defense gave instructions to pay attention to the professionalism of the personnel and the combat readiness of the troops, to increase the intensity of training and field exercises, and to maintain the level of combat readiness of the units at a high level.
Reminding once again that strict compliance with safety rules during combat duty and daily service activities plays an important role in protecting the health of personnel, the minister instructed the military personnel to regularly inform about these rules, as well as to constantly monitor their compliance.
