"Arzum 9999," who is in custody, spoke for the first time - What did he say to his lawyer?

Lawyer Farid Hasanov met with the tiktoker Ilduze Hajiyeva, nicknamed "Arzum 9999," at the Baku Investigation Detention Center.

Medianews.az reports that the defender stated this in an interview with Olke.az.

According to him, I. Hajiyeva feels well and has no health problems. The tiktoker is held in a cell together with several people: "The detention conditions are good, she has no complaints. At the same time, she is not dissatisfied with the treatment towards her."

In conversation with her lawyer, Ilduze Hajiyeva said that she considers the Khazar District Court's verdict illegal, baseless, and unjust: "She said she did not expect such a decision. She is still in shock. Those held in the cell together with her were also surprised. Everyone tells Ms. Ilduze that in Azerbaijan, women are not imprisoned for traffic accidents, especially for suspicious traffic accidents. There has been no precedent for such a sentence given to a mother of four children."

Farid Hasanov stated that the tiktoker’s children are currently cared for by their grandparents. It is expected that her husband, who is a German citizen, will come to Azerbaijan in the near future.

Note that according to the charges brought against I. Hajiyeva, on June 27, 2025, at around 00:53, while driving a "Changan Qiyuan A05 Plug-in Hybrid" passenger car with state registration number 10-BY-117 on the Mardakan-Qala highway in Khazar district of Baku city in the direction of Qala, she caused an accident.
As a result, I. Hajiyeva scraped and hit the rear tire of a "Mercedes-Benz D2" car with state registration number 77-UK-890, driven by Malikov Amal Musa oglu, causing a sideswipe collision due to negligence.

As a result, passenger Muradova Sanuber Firdovsi qizi in the same car suffered serious bodily injuries, and the driver Malikov Amal died.
The Khazar District Court found I. Hajiyeva guilty in the incident. The court sentenced her to 5 years and 2 months of imprisonment. I. Hajiyeva was arrested in the courtroom.
Her lawyers are preparing to file an appeal.
