Huge concrete foundations have appeared in the Caspian Sea in Lankaran.
APA reports that it is assumed that these structures, built using river stones, are the foundations of protective walls that once existed in coastal areas.
Until the 2000s, due to the rise of the sea water, the concrete walls remained underwater.
It should be noted that in recent years, the retreat of the Caspian Sea has caused coastal areas, buildings, foundations, as well as the roots of large trees, to become visible again.
