11 members of a criminal syndicate accused of murder, fraud, and drug trafficking in China have been executed.
"Report" informs that this was reported by the "Xinhua" agency.
The execution was carried out after confirmation by the Supreme People's Court by the court of Wenzhou city in Zhejiang province, eastern China.
The syndicate operated in northern Myanmar along China's border, and the victims of fraud were citizens of the country. The "Min Family" syndicate was involved in gambling and fraud amounting to more than 10 billion yuan (approximately 1.4 billion dollars). The syndicate was also charged with illegal detention of people and intentional homicide. They were found guilty of the murder of 14 Chinese citizens and injuring six others.
