A bloody fight broke out among famous people vacationing on Bali, the resort island of Indonesia. Kazakh model Gulsesim Altaybekova was detained by local police for inflicting serious bodily injuries on Russian blogger Karina Fadeyeva.
According to Milli.Az, the incident occurred in one of the popular bars in Bali. According to information, the dispute between the parties quickly turned into a physical confrontation. Based on security camera footage, model Gulsesim Altaybekova struck Russian blogger Karina Fadeyeva on the head with a metal lamp (lighting device).
As a result of the attack, Karina Fadeyeva suffered deep cuts on her head and a traumatic brain injury, partially losing her hearing ability.
Kazakh model Altaybekova was detained while trying to flee Bali.
During the investigation period, she has been held under temporary detention for 60 days as a preventive measure.
She faces a long-term prison sentence for causing serious bodily injury.
Although the club management claims that the conflict was started by the blogger’s friends, the victim Fadeyeva states that this is completely unfounded and that the attack was sudden and without reason. The Kazakh government is closely monitoring the process to provide legal assistance to its citizen.
