An unexpected incident occurred while helping a patient called with a suspicion of a heart attack in the city of Adana, Turkey.
Medianews.az reports that, the patient who received initial medical aid during the incident was placed in an ambulance.
At that time, it was reported that the ambulance key fell inside the blanket but this went unnoticed.
Since the key was not found, a second ambulance was called to the scene and the patient was taken to the hospital. However, despite the intervention of the doctors, it was not possible to save his life.
The deceased’s family claimed negligence in the incident and filed a complaint, and an investigation was launched. Officials stated during the preliminary investigation that the key had accidentally fallen inside the blanket during medical intervention.
An investigation is underway regarding the incident.
