The weather in Azerbaijan was mainly dry, but in the evening and night hours, occasional lightning and rain occurred in some mountainous and foothill regions.
Medianews.az reports that this information was noted in the data from the National Hydrometeorology Service as of 9:00 on July 17.
The amount of precipitation recorded was 11 mm in Ganja; 4 mm in Shamkir, Sarıbaş (Gakh), Balakan, and Oghuz; 2 mm in Sheki; and 1 mm in Zagatala, Shahdagh, Naftalan, Goygol, Tartar, Kalbajar, Lachin, Qubadli, and Shusha.
On July 16, a northwest wind blew in some places, with the maximum wind speed reaching 21 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as 21 m/s in Mingachevir, 20 m/s in Ganja, and 19 m/s in Julfa.
