“BaBala TV” host and social media phenomenon Oğuzhan Uğur has been detained within the scope of the investigation related to the “Ahbap” Association.

It should be noted that under the coordination of the Istanbul Republic Prosecutor's Office, a large-scale investigation is underway under the charges of “creating an organization for committing crimes,” “fraud on a grand scale,” and “legalization of assets obtained through crime.”
Within the framework of the investigation, MASAK reports prepared, investigations on bank accounts, technical and physical surveillance revealed that the suspects carried out large money transfers inconsistent with their financial status, transferred large amounts of funds among themselves, and placed high amounts in betting and gambling. It was also discovered during the investigations that they conducted numerous real estate transactions among themselves in a short period.
Based on the obtained evidence, in the first operation conducted on July 12, 17 people were detained, including the founder of the Ahbap Association, Haluk Levent. In subsequent operations, 9 more suspects were arrested. Of the 25 people brought to court, detention measures were selected for 14, including Haluk Levent, while court supervision was applied to 11 individuals.
As a continuation of the investigation, 17 more suspects were detained during simultaneous operations in Istanbul, Izmir, Kocaeli, and Mugla.
