On June 24, 2026, regarding the issue of the repeated deduction of funds from the accounts of customers of several banks that are members of "Azərikard" LLC, it is reported that the said incident is not related to any cyber interference or fraud, but occurred due to technical reasons.
Medianews.az reports that the Central Bank of Azerbaijan has issued information on this matter.
The public is informed that no difficulties are observed regarding the stability, continuity, and reliability of the payment systems of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as the information systems and payment infrastructure of processing centers operating in the country and commercial banks.
The mentioned technical malfunction has already been resolved by the relevant authorities.
