On June 5, the barrel of Azerbaijani oil under the "AzeriLight" brand is sold for $100.78.
Medianews.az reports that this is nearly $4 lower than the starting price of the month.
The price of oil has been fluctuating amid rising tensions between the US and Israel with Iran since February 28.
In Azerbaijan's 2026 budget, the price per barrel of oil is taken as $65. "AzeriLight" started January at $65.71, February at $69.72, March at $79.60, April at $132.35, May at $122.26, and June at $104.58.
