“The accusations made against the Russian peacekeeping forces in Karabakh are baseless,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a joint press conference on the results of his talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, while commenting on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s accusation that “Russian peacekeepers are not fulfilling their obligations,” APA‘ reports.
“If someone thinks that the UN, OSCE, and some Minsk Group peacekeepers should replace Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh, then this should be agreed with the parties, first of all, with Azerbaijan,” Lavrov said.
