Women need more sleep than men - RESEARCH

Research shows that biologically, women need more sleep compared to men. According to experts, the main reasons for this are hormonal changes, multiple daily responsibilities, and more intensive brain activity. 

During a study conducted on 340 couples, it was determined that women sleep on average 26 minutes more than men on rest days.

Experts state that hormonal changes such as the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, and menopause affect the sleep quality of women. Additionally, work and family responsibilities also cause them to become more tired.

Psychologists note that chronic insomnia increases irritability, anxiety, and emotional tension in women, which can negatively affect family relationships.
