The "AJP Tour Georgia National Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2026 - GI & No-GI" tournament was held in Tbilisi. Athletes from various regions of Georgia, as well as from neighboring countries, participated in this prestigious Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition.
In the championship, which is part of the international tournament series "Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro" (AJP), athlete Hacı-Murad Khalilov from Marneuli competed in the 69 kg weight category.
Khalilov won his first match against Saba Tsiklauri with a score of 7:2, securing a place in the final.
In the final match, his opponent was Arno Hovhannisyan from Armenia. Hacı-Murad Khalilov defeated his opponent with a score of 17:0, earning the championship title.
Thus, the athlete from Marneuli won the gold medal at the "AJP Tour Georgia National Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2026" tournament and further strengthened his position in the international ranking. /Oxu.Az
