The secret of longevity of Johanna Mazibuko, a South African who lived for 128 years and was known as "the oldest person in the world," has been revealed.
Medianews.az reports, citing foreign media, that according to her, the basis of her healthy and long life is simple nutrition and a natural lifestyle.
Mazibuko, the eldest of a family with 12 children, lived a farmer's life since childhood and did not experience serious health problems. Throughout her life, she mainly ate products grown on her own farm. She stated that she never removed two particular foods — fresh milk and wild spinach — from her daily diet.
Mazibuko emphasized that living in a natural environment, valuing family principles, and leading a stress-free life play an important role in longevity. She had 7 children, 2 of whom survived, and 50 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Johanna Mazibuko was born on May 11, 1894, and passed away on March 3, 2023.
