In Russia, a 40-year-old man was detained for burning a house that belonged to someone else.
Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred in the town of Vanino in the Khabarovsk region.
The unemployed man drank alcohol and wanted to start a new life. He decided to burn down the wooden house in order to build a new one in its place.
Later, it was revealed that the house did not belong to him, but to the district central administration.
A case has been opened on the charge of "Deliberate destruction or damage to another's property." He faces up to five years of imprisonment.
