25 tourists were hospitalized due to food poisoning at a hotel in Bodrum, Turkey.
Medianews.az reports that this information was shared by the local "Kent TV" channel.
It is reported that the incident occurred at a hotel located in the Ortakent area of Bodrum. Tourists were taken to the hospital with symptoms of food poisoning such as nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Some of the victims sought medical help on their own, while others were accompanied by the hotel management.
After examination by doctors, it was announced that there is no danger to the lives of the tourists. Their treatment is currently ongoing.
According to initial assumptions, the tourists were poisoned by chicken meat they ate at the hotel's restaurant. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
It should be noted that a similar incident occurred in mid-July at a five-star hotel in the Kusadasi resort in western Turkey. At that time, nearly 30 tourists, including foreign nationals, were hospitalized after being poisoned by the food served under the "all inclusive" system.
