The singer İlyas Yalçıntaş, who was detained within the framework of the investigation into narcotic substances in Turkey, has responded to the allegations made against him.
Medianews.az reports that Yalçıntaş stated in his social media account that he will not speak in detail because the legal process is ongoing.
The singer denied the allegations regarding the discovery of narcotic substances in his home and said that the item presented in the press as a "sensitive scale" is actually an ordinary kitchen scale he uses for calorie and nutrition control.
"Contrary to some news, no prohibited substance was found in my home. The mentioned scale is an ordinary kitchen scale that I use completely legally," Yalçıntaş emphasized.
The singer also stated that he trusts the Turkish justice system and believes that the truth will come out soon, calling on the public to remain calm until the investigation is completed.
Let us remind that the Bakırköy Republic Prosecutor's Office has made a decision to detain 25 well-known people in the fields of art, business, and entertainment within the framework of the investigation conducted under the articles "use, facilitation of use, and creating conditions for narcotic and psychotropic substances."
Among those detained is the singer İlyas Yalçıntaş. Currently, suspects are being questioned by the police and the prosecution, the investigation and other legal procedures continue.
