Netanyahu also emphasized that they have achieved a change in Israel's international position and that defense is more important than offense.

Iran, in response, struck regional bases of Israel and the USA, as well as certain targets identified in some Gulf countries. As a result of the attacks, Ali Khamenei and several high-ranking officials have died. According to Iranian officials, a total of 1,332 people have died in the operations.
