“e-Sosial”, “e-Tabib”, “e-Su” has stopped: Which other platforms will be terminated?

Some mobile applications will be discontinued in Azerbaijan in order to provide digital government services on a "one-stop shop" principle, and the services carried out through these applications will be integrated into the "myGov" platform. Already, several applications ("e-Tabib", "e-Su" and "e-Sosial") have ceased operations. The services of these applications are now provided through the "myGov" platform.

Which other applications are expected to cease operations?

Elvin Abbasov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Information and Communication Technologies Industry Association, stated in an interview with Medianews.az that this transition process managed by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is part of the "Digital Government" concept and its main goal is to ensure citizens’ access to government services from a single point.

According to E. Abbasov, the cessation of operations of major platforms such as “e-Tabib,” “e-Su,” and “e-Sosial” indicates that in the next phase, the individual subscriber applications of “Azərişıq” and “Azəriqaz,” as well as payment and information portals used in the transportation sector (for example, railways and urban transport services), will be integrated into the “myGov” ecosystem: “This reduces the costs of government agencies maintaining separate software and allows the implementation of unified security standards.”

E. Abbasov noted that the list of applications to be discontinued is updated based on the technical readiness of government agencies and the sequence established in the "2026-2028 Activity Plan." Nevertheless, the expert primarily predicts that some mobile subsystems of education (school admissions and student portals), customs, and tax services, which citizens frequently use, will also be included in this process: “Thus, in the near future, instead of dozens of separate government applications on citizens’ phones, the goal is to have only a few main applications managing all legal and administrative processes. This transition saves the state budget and makes the user experience faster and more transparent.”
