Planned repair and restoration works will be carried out on June 5 by the Nakhchivan Regional Energy Supply and Sales Department (RETSI) of "Azerishiq" JSC in Nakhchivan city.
According to Medianews.az, in this regard, the power supply to the 10 kV overhead power lines number 5 and 18, fed from the 110/35/10 kV Nakhchivan substation, will be temporarily suspended.
The purpose of the repair works is to replace the existing overhead power lines with underground cable lines within the framework of reconstruction, as well as to ensure the safety of lines passing near residential houses and falling within the protection zone.
For this reason, on June 5, from 13:00 to 15:00, there will be a temporary interruption in the power supply on Heydar Aliyev Avenue, Vugar Gasimov and Afiyaddin Jalilov streets.
It should be noted that phased repair works at power lines and substations at various addresses are planned to continue in order to strengthen energy supply systems, increase reliability, and carry out technical inspections.
