Those who want to be admitted to Ali school without exam ATTENTION

According to Decision No. 229 dated May 20, 2019, of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, winners of international and republican subject olympiads, international competitions, and contests are admitted to higher education institutions without competition.

Medianews.az reports that the State Examination Center has released information about this.

It was stated that "winners of international and republican subject olympiads, international competitions, and contests mean the following persons:

- persons awarded a gold, silver, or bronze medal at an international subject olympiad;

- persons who took first, second, or third place in the republican subject olympiad held among IX-XI grade students;

- persons who have been laureates (main prize, first, second, or third place) of an international competition or contest (in the age group above 15 years).

A winner of an international or republican subject olympiad has the right to be admitted without competition to a higher education institution only once for the next 2 academic years following the completion of full secondary education, and a winner of an international competition or contest has this right only once for the next 5 academic years following the achievement of victory after completing full secondary education (the specialties where admission without competition is conducted, lists of international and republican subject olympiads, and lists of international competitions and contests are reflected in Decision No. 229 dated May 20, 2019, of the Cabinet of Ministers).

Winners of international and republican subject olympiads, international competitions, and contests (those who have not yet submitted the relevant documents to the SEC) must submit photocopies of the documents listed below to the State Examination Center (Baku city, academ. H.Aliyev street, 299 and Binagadi district, S.S.Akhundov street, 50) or its regional branches from May 13 to June 30, 2026:

- a copy of the generally approved "Applicant electronic application" form;

- a photocopy of the document confirming the status of winner of the international subject olympiad, or republican subject olympiad, international competition, or contest,

- information about the official website reflecting the country where the respective event was held, the date, and the results.

The Center has the right to verify the authenticity of the submitted documents and to confirm that they belong to the submitting person through the databases of the relevant institutions of the country where the olympiads, competitions, and contests were held or the organizations conducting them (including international organizations) regarding winners of olympiads, competitions, and contests.

An Azerbaijani citizen who is a winner of an international subject olympiad, international competition, or contest shall, in addition to submitting photocopies of the documents specified in section 4.2, send to the Center notarized translations of these documents into the Azerbaijani language.

Those wishing to be admitted to special-purpose educational institutions must, along with the documents indicated, submit to the Document Admission Commission established in that educational institution a medical report on their health and physical condition, a biography, and other information envisaged by the Charter of that educational institution.
