After US President Donald Trump's statement on the restoration of Iran's maritime blockade, oil prices sharply increased worldwide.

On the ICE exchange, the price of "Brent" oil October futures rose by 4.5% to 79.44 US dollars per barrel. During the auction, quotes exceeded 80 US dollars per barrel for the first time in approximately a month.
WTI oil futures for delivery in August increased by 4.45% to 74.59 US dollars per barrel.
The price increase occurred after Trump's post on "Truth Social" announcing the restoration of the blockade. According to him, restrictions will apply only to Iranian ships and their customers, while the Strait of Hormuz will remain open for other countries.
