Tennis player Adolf Daniel Vallexo was fined $65,000 at the "Roland Garros" tournament.
The Paraguayan lost to Moazu Koame in the 1/32 finals of the tournament and said "matches like this should be controlled by men."
According to Vallexo, the female referee could not make a decision in the five-set match under the pressure of the stands.
This remark was considered sexist, and therefore Vallexo will forfeit about half of the prize money he earned for reaching the second round of the tournament./publika.az
