Seasons to our mood How does it affect?

According to experts, the fact that people feel more energetic in some seasons and more tired in others is often related to seasonal changes. The duration of daylight and weather conditions directly affect emotional state.

Medianews.az reports that psychologist Sare Şen spoke on this matter.

She states that the decrease in daylight disrupts the body's biological rhythm, which can increase feelings of fatigue, loss of motivation, and withdrawal. Conversely, sunny and long days increase energy and motivation.

Due to the shortening of days in winter months, cases of increased sleepiness, weakness, and withdrawal from social life are widespread. In summer, energy and activity usually increase, but for some people, hot weather and changes in daily routine can cause discomfort.

Experts note that one of the most difficult periods is seasonal transitions. During this time, the body tries to adapt to new conditions, and mood changes are considered normal.

To reduce this effect, it is recommended to benefit more from daylight, maintain daily routine, increase physical activity, and keep social connections.

It is noted that mood is shaped not only by internal factors but also by external factors. Therefore, it is considered a more correct approach to evaluate emotional changes not as a problem but as a seasonal effect.
