An earthquake of magnitude 7.4 has been recorded off the coast of Indonesia.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported this.
According to the report, the epicenter of the underground tremors was located 163 kilometers east of the city of Manado in North Sulawesi province, which has approximately 451,000 inhabitants. The earthquake's hypocenter was at a depth of 35 kilometers.
The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration issued a tsunami warning. The waves reached a height of 0.7 meters.
At least one person died as a result of the incident. Local authorities report damage to some residential buildings. //Metbuat.az
