The Czech government has approved a draft law banning the use of mobile phones in schools.
Medianews.az reports that, according to the draft, the ban will apply to kindergartens, general education schools, lower grades of gymnasiums, and music schools. Students will be prohibited from using mobile phones and other electronic devices during lessons, breaks, and at school.
An exception is provided for children using electronic devices for medical reasons. The document has been submitted to parliament and, if adopted, will come into force on September 1, 2027.
