Medianews.az, referring to "Report," reports that in the qualifying round, Jalə Əliyeva (57 kg) will face German Amori Andriç.
Ruzanna Məmmədova (62 kg) will test herself against Ukrainian representative Ilona Prokopevnyuk.
Birgül Soltanova (65 kg) will wrestle Krista İnce in the quarterfinals.
Günay Qurbanova (59 kg) will face Marta Getmanova (UWW) in the bronze medal match.
Recall that Azerbaijan has won 5 medals so far at the European Championship. Greco-Roman wrestlers Həsrət Cəfərov (67 kg) and Qurban Qurbanov (82 kg) won gold, while Rəşad Məmmədov (55 kg), Nihat Məmmədli (60 kg), and İslam Abbasov (87 kg) earned bronze medals. Also, the Greco-Roman wrestling team became European champions in the team standings.
The continental championship will conclude on April 26.
