Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared that he discussed the production of interceptor missiles for the "Patriot" surface-to-air missile systems (SAM) with his American counterpart Donald Trump.
Medianews.az reports that this information was shared on the official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian head of state.
"I discussed with President Trump the licenses for the production of interceptor missiles for the 'Patriot' systems and some other ideas that could help," Zelensky noted.
He also stated that the parties are considering activating the diplomatic process. The Ukrainian leader emphasized that the details of future cooperation will be agreed upon and called the meeting with Trump "good."
It should be recalled that earlier it was reported that negotiations between Zelensky and Trump had concluded. According to Ukrainian media, the meeting lasted approximately one hour.
