A large fire has broken out in the Goychay district covering a wide area.
Medianews.az reports that the fire initially started in the Qaramaryam village area of the district, and later spread towards nearby villages due to strong winds.
The flames quickly covered a large area, engulfing hectares of pastures, harvested grain fields, and shrublands located in mountainous and flat areas.
Necessary measures have been taken to prevent the fire from reaching residential areas. Specifically, the live forces and special equipment of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Goychay district branch were deployed to the site.
Currently, efforts continue to completely extinguish the fire and prevent the flames from spreading to larger areas.
