The "Modern Psychological Support" Public Union has successfully completed the project titled "Psychological Consequences of Early Marriage," which was carried out to study the impacts of early marriages on society, particularly on the psychological health of adolescents and youth, and to strengthen awareness in this area.

Medianews.az reports that the project was implemented with financial support from the State Support Agency for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The main goal of the project was to inform the public about the psychological traumas caused by early marriages, the problems arising in personality development, difficulties in intra-family relationships, and social adaptation issues. At the same time, within the framework of the project, awareness-raising activities were organized for adolescents in the risk group, parents, and teachers.

Within the project, seminars and trainings dedicated to the psychological effects of early marriage were held, and open discussions with the participation of psychologists were organized. In addition, analytical articles were prepared and published, and extensive awareness campaigns were conducted on social media platforms. Various educational activities were also carried out within the project to promote psychological support mechanisms for youth.

During the project implementation period, the "Modern Psychological Support" Public Union emphasized once again that the issue of early marriage is not only a legal and social matter but also an important social problem that causes serious psychological consequences. In this regard, the project contributed to protecting individuals’ psychological well-being, promoting healthy family relationships, and the sustainable development of society.

Through the educational materials prepared, trainings conducted, seminars, and other events held within the project, a significant contribution was made to increasing public awareness about the psychological consequences of early marriage, and especially to promoting a healthy lifestyle, education, and the importance of personal development among adolescents and youth.
