In Armenia, a detention order for two months has been issued against Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the "Blossoming Armenia" Party.
Medianews.az reports that this information was released by the local media citing the press service of the Armenian Investigative Committee.
Gagik Tsarukyan has been charged with fraud and money laundering.
It should be noted that on July 6, Gagik Tsarukyan was detained and taken to the Armenian Investigative Committee. He was later brought before the court.
The Investigative Committee stated that within the framework of the criminal case, searches were simultaneously conducted at more than 70 addresses by employees of the National Security Service, the State Revenue Committee, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
