Famous Brazilian forward Neymar is disappointed about not being called up to the national team.
The experienced striker stated this in an interview with the publication "Footmercato".
"Of course, I am disappointed and sad about not being called up to the national team. But I am focusing my attention and continuing preparations. I hope I will achieve my goal. The final squad of the national team is still ahead," the footballer said.
Earlier, an extended squad of 26 players was announced for the Brazil national team for friendly matches to be held ahead of the 2026 World Cup (D&C). Italian head coach Carlo Ancelotti did not call up the famous 34-year-old star of "Santos" to the squad.
