How many countries have confirmed participation in the "Eurovision 2027" song competition?
Medianews.az reports that besides Bulgaria, which will host the competition, 14 countries have so far agreed to participate in "Eurovision 2027": Germany, Great Britain, Denmark, Finland, Israel, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Luxembourg, Norway, Romania, San Marino, North Macedonia, Greece.
Since 1956, in the competition which is a project of the European Broadcasting Union encompassing public broadcasters, Ireland and Sweden have won 7 times, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, and Great Britain 5 times, Israel 4 times, Switzerland, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Norway, and Ukraine 3 times, Spain and Germany 2 times, Monaco, Belgium, Yugoslavia, Estonia, Latvia, Turkey, Greece, Finland, Serbia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Portugal, and Bulgaria once each.
